Polaroid

swimming in
pure Hockney blue,
sunlight refracting
into rainbows.
 
I feel weightless
in the water,
otter-sleek and playful,
relishing the cool 
against my skin.
 
I will remember, 
when all is dark—
 
this day,
bright as a polaroid,
dazzling.
